Coral Sánchez de Ocaña and Lola Sebastian de Erice form Pinson Living, a project based on the selection of hand-painted ceramics, coloured glassware and a bold collection of home textiles.
Although its flagship products are the ceramics, they are little by little adding other small pieces from fellow craftswomen that share the same energy as Pinson Living. Some of these include the characteristics of the textile world such as tablecloths and cushions, furniture with special varnishings, soaps and crystal pieces.
They consider themselves “treasure hunters” of the most unique items they find. “Pinson has to be international, it must be understood as a way of life, a way of being received …”
Why Pinson Living? The name was born after days of writing names that might work well for the brand they created. They wanted a short name, that could be pronounced in all languages. The name Pinson finally came to Coral, and originally it is the name of both a little bird and a city of Alabama.
Before devoting themselves body and soul to Pinson Living, both founders were dedicated to textiles and have over fourteen years of experience in the fashion world. In the textile sector, they say, “you run short of humane treatment, yet this is just what we are looking for, the human part of each product you find in Pinson. That is very important, it’s what we do every day. “
Spain is a professional country and in the world of craftsmanship and decoration, this adventure that only launched in March of this year, has already reaped many benefits.
They began selling in markets before Christmas and in April already had their own showroom in Madrid.
